A key factor that distinguishes SignLink Live from other European exhibitions with a similar sector focus is its dedication to educating and inspiring its visitors in regards to new business diversification avenues.
In addition to a comprehensive exhibitor line up, the show will launch several special zones that include The Profit Factory, Business Seminar Theatre, The Swap Shop, Craftsman’s Corner, For the Love of Neon, Green Horizons, The Software Training Theatre, or The Sign-maker’s Sink Hole.
SignLink Live will allow UK sign industry suppliers and manufacturers to showcase technology from the humble spot coloured screw cap, through advanced LED lighting technology, right up to massive extruded aluminium modular totem systems.
What is intrinsic to the show is it will deliver a qualified demographic of visitors from SignLink’s readership, which will be able to draw in an initial conservative target of 4,000 visitors. Another key factor is that exhibitors will benefit the co-located Print Show exhibition.
While wide-format print technology and the sector that surrounds it is of course a highly important part of the sign industry today, such has been the focus on this sector at other shows around Europe, that the rest of the sign industry has remained a little in its shadow when exhibiting.
SignLink Live seeks to restore the balance by squarely focusing on the entire supply chain for sign-making businesses outside wide-format print in the UK, giving them a chance to shine without being overshadowed by multi-national printer manufacturers.
A FASCINATION FOR FABRICATION
In addition to being focussed on everything sign-making outside of wide-format print, SignLink Live will also host a series of fantastic free educational, entertaining, and inspiration special areas. The Profit Factory—showcasing 'businesses in a box', Craftsman's Corner—an area dedicated to traditional sign-making skills, a comprehensive Business Seminar Theatre Programme, its own Software Training Theatre, The Sign-Maker's Sinkhole pub, The Swap Shop to showcase the latest in special effects vinyl media, and For The Love of Neon—paying homage to this historic medium.

FEATURES AND SCHEDULES
With its roots in the world of trade media, SignLink Live’s organising and creative team understand the value of inspiring, educating, and entertaining its visitors.
To this end it will run a comprehensive programme of special features that attracts visitors to the exhibition over the three days and leaves them feeling they have been part of not just a valuable experience in terms of improving their business prospects, but also makes them feel part of ‘sign-making culture’ and a community of like-minded UK entrepreneurs.
THE PROFIT FACTORY
Four ‘shops’ make up The Profit Factory – Enterprise Engraving, T-shirt Towers, The Curiosity Shop, and Promo Print Alley. Each are designed to showcase businesses in a box, and how they can help sign-makers grow profits in new revenue streams.
THE SWAP SHOP
Speciality vinyl holds many exciting possibilities for sign-makers, and continues to grow in popularity in the UK. The Swap Shop, run by industry supplier Grafityp, will be a masterclass in the creative opportunities the wide range of colourful options can provide.
FOR THE LOVE OF NEON
Lighting up the signage industry for more than 100 years, Neon will be celebrated at SignLink Live, as we use this special area to raise awareness of its current practitioners and its ongoing value and importance in the industry.
The sign industry’s rich heritage is not confined to history, traditional techniques are still alive and kicking today, as we provide demonstrations of hand signwriting, gold leaf signage, and more.
Environmentally-friendly signage products are more in demand than ever, and the special Green Horizons area of SignLink Live is dedicated to solutions made from recycled materials, LEDs, solar powered sources, and more low environmental impact options.
SIGN-MAKER'S SINK HOLE
There will be so much to see and do and SignLink Live, why not take a break and enjoy some good food or even a pint or two? The show’s very own pub is also a great place to network with colleagues and customers.
